The door at the front is not used therefore we enter the house on the side. Through the central corridor all rooms can be reached. At the front we find the living room and kitchen. The living room is nicely finished with laminate flooring and wallpaper on the wall. The large windows at the front and rear make it very bright and comfortable. The air conditioning keeps it nice and cool but can also be used in the winter for additional heating.

 

In recent years much has been done to the home. In March 2022, the entire roof of the home was renewed and 15 solar panels were installed. The exterior wall has been sandblasted, repointed and impregnated. There are no thresholds in the home and the entire home has beautiful laminate flooring.

LOCATION:
Ursem is a pleasant village with a large club life, including a handball and soccer club and a tennis club. There is also a supermarket nearby and recently a new community school built, including two elementary schools, a childcare center and a library.

 

Ursem is located on the edge of the Schermer polder and was formerly built on the West Frisian Omringdijk for protection against the high water in the schermerboezem. The first habitation in Ursem dates back to the Middle Ages. This gives the village a rich history which can still be seen in some places.

 

The larger towns of Alkmaar, Heerhugowaard and Hoorn are easily accessible via various arterial roads or by public transport. 2 kilometers from the center is the Ursemmerplas. A beautiful recreational area of about 30 hectares where you can enjoy walking, fishing or swimming. Within cycling distance you can reach Heerhugowaard with the largest indoor shopping center of North Holland (Middenwaard). In addition, the access to Amsterdam is excellent.
